StateFoodSafety recently partnered with the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) to help provide food manager certification exams to qualifying employees.
If you work as a dairy, deli, or bakery department manager or associate, and your store is a member of IDDBA, you can apply to be reimbursed for up to 100% of the cost of the proctored food manager certification exam. Managers who paid for their employees' certification exams can also apply for reimbursement. The IDDBA will cover up to $2,000 per company per year.
Examinees must pass the exam to get reimbursed.
Training courses and other exam prep materials are not eligible for reimbursement, but they can be invaluable in helping you or your employees pass the exam. At StateFoodSafety, 96% of people who take our training course also pass our exam.
The StateFoodSafety Food Protection Manager Certification Exam is ANAB accredited and available in English, Spanish, and Mandarin. You can take it online with secure remote proctoring. It is also available at our partner testing centers.
In other cases, it may be an option for you to take the exam at your store or local health department. Make sure you check with your manager before selecting the "Employer or Health Department Proctored" option to make sure there's an approved StateFoodSafety proctor at your company or health department.
The IDDBA was founded in Wisconsin in 1964. It's a nonprofit trade association with more than 1,500 members, including food retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, brokers, distributors, and more. The association's mission is to help lead the way for dairy, deli, and bakery sales to grow and develop. In addition to supporting food safety training and training about other facets of the food business, it produces industry trends reports and research. The IDDBA's annual tradeshow attracts more than 10,000 people each year.
StateFoodSafety is a food safety education company dedicated to providing high-quality training and certification programs to regulatory, grocery, restaurant, and hospitality communities.
