For this month’s activity, we are holding an art contest. Everyone is invited to participate. We will select artwork from the entries that we receive and publish them in a digital version of the calendar.
To enter StateFoodSafety.com’s art contest you must submit a drawing/re-creation/rendering of one of our cartoons from the 2015–2016 Cartoon Calendar or a unique new drawing about food safety before August 31, 2015. Email a file, photo, or scanned copy of your artwork to calendar@statefoodsafety.com. If your artwork is chosen, we will create a version of the calendar with your artwork in it and email a copy to you, so you can share it with your friends on social media.
The Cartoon Calendar Activity is part of a push to link our online media with our printed calendar. The activities range from a wide variety of giveaways, contests, scavenger hunts, discounts, discussions, and opportunities to provide feedback. Read more about the happenings here.
