Food Safety Focus: Shigella

This Food Safety Focus introduces foodservice workers to Shigella, a common foodborne pathogen that is transmitted through the fecal–oral route. Workers will learn that it is important to stay home when sick and to thoroughly wash hands after using the bathroom. Workers will also learn about fly control.
